Q:

What languages does Networds Services provide translation supports?

A:

We translate most Asian, European and Nordic languages. Not only do we translate to and from these languages, we also provide desktop publishing supports.

 

 

Q:

What file formats does Networds Services support?

A:

We supports all types of files, with standard, basic formats including .doc, .xls, .ppt, .txt, .rtf. Other formats including pdf and eps can be requested on demand with a desktop publishing fee.

 

 

Q:

How may I obtain a quotation for documents or project on hand?

A:

You are most welcome to call us at (852) 2833 4699 or email us the documents at info@networdservices.com with the job specifications including the language pair, nature of material and volume. We will get back to you with a detailed quotation as soon as possible.

 

 

Q:

Do I pay more for urgent projects?

A:

Yes, rush projects require more resources to have the job completed within the requested time. We will provide you with a detailed quote. If we cannot perform the job within the requested timeframe, we will propose a time of delivery.

 

 

Q:

What are the options of payment?

A:

We accept company cheques, direct bank transfer in US$, EURO and HK Dollar. You may contact our Accounts Department at (852) 2833 4699 or admin@networdservices.com for more information.

 

 

Q:

What are the normal payment terms?

A:

Invoices will be sent to you by post (or email by request) upon completion of the project and since we do not require a deposit to start the project, we gratefully request you to settle the invoices within 30 days after the invoice date (unless otherwise agreed by Networds). Overdued invoices will be subject to a 15% late charge per reminder without any prior notification.

 

 

Q:

How may I submit files to Networds Services for translation?

A:

For files with softcopies, you may email us the file at info@networdservices.com and indicate in the Subject Title “For Quotation (source language > target language); or upload it onto our FTP server. For more information on uploading large files to the FTP server, please contact us at (852) 2833 4699. For files only available in hardcopies, please fax to us at (852) 2833 4600 or email the scanned copy to info@networdservices.com as paper documents are less preferred.

 

 

Q:

Are we entitled to editing the translated documents? Are there any surcharges?

A:

Yes, each translation job is entitled to two rounds of revision free of charge, based on the same source text. Each additional rounds will treated as an editing job at editing rates.
